NEEDS ASSESSMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN EARLY LEARNING AND CHILD CARE

This survey is being conducted to help establish the needs for the levels of training required for continuing as or becoming a child care professional in the East Central Area.  If you have no interest in furthering your child care training, we ask that you fill out and submit the form so we know how many have been given the opportunity to participate in the assessment and to provide us with the numbers necessary for statistical purposes.



  1. Please indicate the current level of training in child care as outlined by Children's Services.

Exempt status until:

Level 1 -  (50 hour orientation or one course  in Early Childhood Development / Early
                    Learning and Child Care)

Level 2 - One year course of studies - Certificate program

Level 3 - Two year course of studies - Diploma program
 

  2. My goal in training to work as a professional in child care and early learning would be:

50 hour orientation

one class offered as a College course from the certificate program (equivalent to
      the orientation course and credited towards the certificate program)

a Certificate for Level 2

a Diploma for Level 3
