Residence - student dorms

The dormitory includes fourteen rooms, with good quality mattresses on twin beds, two desks, desk lamps and chairs.
Students enjoy convenience and privacy as only two bedrooms share each bathroom.
The dormitory houses male and female students on separate floors.
Each floor has a fridge and microwave oven. There is also a full kitchen in the student lounge where students can prepare their own favorites. |

Resident Students
Each dorm room contains 2 twin beds, 2 desks, 2 lamps, shelves and plenty of closet space for each occupant.
Here are some ideas about to bring with you.
Each dorm unit has a small kitchenette with a fridge. You may bring a popcorn popper, toaster, or kettle if you wish. Hot plates or electric fry pans are NOT allowed due to fire regulations.
All students are issued keys to the dormitory & their room. Gardner College requires that the hallway doors remain locked for your own safety and, the security of property.

Housing for Married Students
Married students are urged to come to Camrose well in advance of the beginning of College classes in order to find housing. The College will attempt to assist married students in finding suitable housing. Links to find rental housing:
Food Services
All resident students are required to board in the College cafeteria. The only exception to this rule is if a student has a special health problem. The College must be advised of such by way of a statement from the student's doctor.

At the time of applying for graduation, the graduation fee will be assessed.

All students must arrange their own medical insurance.

All purchases in the bookstore are by cash, cheque, or Credit card.

Tuition will be guaranteed for any student continuing for consecutive full-time semesters, as being the same tuition rate as was in effect when enrolling for their first semester at Gardner. This guarantee is for a maximum period of two (2) years.
Refunds
When a student voluntarily withdraws after the semester opens, refunds of tuition, board and room charges, and other fees will be refunded as follows:

90% after the first week, 70% after the second week, 50% after the third week, 40% after the fourth week, and 20% after the fifth week. This refund will be calculated on the basis of when the student completes the requirements for withdrawal. No refund will be made after the sixth week. Requests for withdrawal can be made through the Dean's and Registrar's Offices. Application, Registration, and Non-Instructional Fees are not refundable.

If a student is expelled within the first thirty days, the refund of tuition will be set at 25%; board and room will be refunded on the same schedule as applies for voluntary withdrawals. Any student who is expelled after thirty days will not be eligible for any refund of funds. The ECD refund policy from Private Vocational Schools follows this pattern.
